Based in Montreal, versatile artist Caroline Tabah is a photographer, researcher, author, filmmaker, concept designer and director. Eager to share her love for the cinematographic richness and artistic culture of India, Caroline conceives and directs multidisciplinary events and founded the Montreal Indian film festival, Made in India, in 2008. Caroline also gives lectures, interviews, and courses on the cinema of India.
Her passion for India and its cinema led her to India in 2009, for an internship in film production on numerous film sets, due to the generosity of the great Indian actor Dr. Mohan Agashe. Receiving a grant from the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (Government of India) in 2011, Caroline Tabah did an internship in scriptwriting and direction with the legendary Indian director Shyam Benegal, in Mumbai, India.
Through her various projects and artistic expressions, Caroline has always sought to bring something meaningful to people’s lives and to help highlight the beauty and the positive aspects of life, and of the human being.
